I've found myself over the last few weeks after getting home from work sprawled on the sofa trying to decide what to have for tea and during the 999 channel hopping phase I keep stumbling upon the program "Great British Menu" on BBC2.
I'm admittedly a really fussy eater but I've found it quite interesting to watch these bizarre looking plates of food being cooked and presented for the judges to swan on about how it looks "classical" or "modern" and talking about food in a way which sounds more like a maths equation than just bunging something together which tastes good.
However I'm not invited to the "Gherkin" and won't be eating the selected courses and therefore it doesn't really matter what I think.
Personally I think all the portions are far too small . . .
. . and more importantly where the hell are the chips !! ![]()
